Happy New Year! I love the idea of pushing the reset button and starting fresh in the new year. I've been busy dreaming up new ideas for Evermore and can't wait to start sharing them with you. As always, thank you for your continued support and encouragement. I really enjoy sharing glimpses into my world with you and hope to do even more of it in 2016!
Here's a look at a high tea invite that I recently created for a very special customer...my grandmother. She wanted to try something new this year for Mother's Day and her only request was that the invite include a teacup on it. I loved having so much flexibility and enjoyed playing around with watercolor effects in the floral motif and lettering. Once the invite was printed, I used my silhouette to create the scalloped edges before mounting it to kraft paper. To finish it off, I paired the invite with papaya-colored envelopes from Paper Source and added my own polka dot envelop liners. I'm quite happy with the end result and especially love the combination of traditional and modern elements.
Here's a little Wednesday motivation for you! Also, I recently downloaded a bunch of new photoshop brushes (including the watercolor ones used above) and I am a little obsessed to say the least. And since I love sharing awesome finds, I went ahead and created a new Pinterest board where I will be posting all of my favorite resources and tools. You can follow along here.
