Treat Yourself Friday: Pumpkin-Spiced Chai

Since I don't drink coffee, I'm always a little envious of those who do whenever Starbucks starts serving their pumpkin spice lattes each fall. I've attempted several times to enjoy a cup, but I just can't seem to change my tea-drinking ways. That is why I was very excited when I found this pumpkin-spiced syrup recipe. It's intended for lattes, but I figured why not add it to a cup of chai? To avoid loosing the authenticity of the drink I love so much, I used the Starbucks chai tea mix and added the syrup to taste. And since I'm not skilled in the form of coffee art, I topped it off with a marshmallow, naturally. Talk about perfection in a cup and something I will be treating myself to all season long!

Treat Yourself Friday: Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

The "PSL effect" is in full swing and I'm excited to announce that I will be featuring a different pumpkin-spiced recipe each Friday throughout the entire month. First up, are these pumpkin-spiced cupcakes with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting. I mean seriously, does it get much better than this? I don't think so! The cupcake is flavorful enough to stand on it's own, but the cream cheese frosting takes it to a whole other level. These little guys are absolute perfection and if you haven't already run off to whip up a batch, well what are your waiting for?!
