Who's up for some adventuring this month? I'm hoping to do a little tour of the Midwest with trips to visit my sisters in Milwaukee, my bestie in St. Louis and maybe some wineries in Michigan. And with five weekends this month, I think there may even be enough time to squeeze in a trip out West. I am so excited to reclaim my weekends this month and wanted to share this free calendar download to help you plan out yours. Happy October!
Less than a week until Thanksgiving and I couldn't be more excited to sit back and relax with family and friends while surrounded by mountains of comfort foods and tasty treats. This year, I've been tasked with bringing dessert to several parties and I'm looking forward to getting down and dirty in the kitchen next week. And since I love swapping recipes, I created these recipe cards so that I can share my creations with everyone.
They are available for download here. Each card measures 6 x 4 inches and can be easily printed on index cards or the card stock of your choice. They also make great hostess gifts when bundled and tied with twine. You can also find another variation here.
Enjoy and please feel free to comment with your favorite holiday recipe! Mine is for these mini pumpkin cheesecakes.
With the start of each month, I love taking some time to sit down and get myself organized and write out a few goals. My planner typically becomes filled with notes and lists during this time which has lead me to come to love the look of a clean calendar. It's become a bit of a ritual to swap them out at my desk each month as if they were pieces of art. And I love the fact that there are so many free ones available online. Here are just two of my current favorites.
