Fall Inspiration

I officially have fall on the mind. I never like to rush through the seasons, but given that today marks one month until I get married in Colorado, I really can't help myself. I’m ready to see the leaves start to change colors and in the meantime, I’m busy dreaming up new products for the shop.

Right now I’m itching to get back to a mostly neutral palette with maybe a touch of rust or terra cotta here and there. My goal is to let the paper and printing be the focal point of my next release and to incorporate more screen-printed products.

Current Mood: Relaxed + Refined

Here's a peek at the mood board that is serving as the inspiration behind my SS18 collection. As we ease into spring, I am embracing each extra minute of daylight and the sense of renewal that comes with the season. I always feel so hopeful at this time of year and am looking forward to seeing the first buds begin to appear. In the meantime, I am working to channel these emotions into my new designs in a way that is effortless, yet refined. My goal is to create pieces that will seamlessly fit into your life and make you extra excited to tackle each day and celebrate all the wonderful moments that come along the way.

Minimal + Artful Desktop Goods

desktop goods mood board

The Evermore Desktop Collection is very close to launching and since you probably can't contain your excitement like me, I thought you might like to see the mood board which served as the inspiration behind it.

When it comes to desktop organization, I’m all about simplicity and functionality. With that in mind, I strived to create tools that will help you easily keep your goals and to-dos in sight, while also giving your desk a minimal and artful touch. I hope you love the combination of subtle abstract details with clean lines and text as much as I do and I look forward to unveiling the end result to you.

To be the first to know when the collection is available online, please sign up for my newsletter here. And if you’re located in Chicago, you can be the first to shop it in person this Thursday 7/27 at The Monogram-athon event at Madewell on Rush St. from 6-8pm. More details here

Springtime Color Inspiration

color combo: sage and dusty rose with skin tones

As the seasons change, so do the colors and images that I am inspired by. The progression of it is pretty evident in my pinterest feed as wintery neutrals are gradually replaced by springtime hues. As a long-time color-phobe, this time of year has always proven to be very refreshing and when I tend to embrace color the most, both in my wardrobe and my designs. Right now I am especially drawn to a combination of sage and dusty rose with skin tones. I’ve been experimenting with them a lot lately and plan on incorporating them into my upcoming product release.

Springtime Vibes

Spring Moodboard // Evermore Paper Co.

I'm so happy to finally open the windows in my apartment and go on walks without piling on the layers first. It feels like spring has arrived at last and I can't help but notice the positive impact it's had on my daily routine. Morning runs and evening bike rides or strolls have reintroduced themselves and it looks like they're here to stay. Hallelujah!

With the change in season, I always like to create a new mood board of the images that are inspiring me the most. This is my latest rendition. It's feeling much lighter and airy compared to this board I created a few months ago.

PLANS, SCHEMES AND DREAMS 02

LEARN // Every year I tell myself that I should take a class, and every year I fail at doing so. I was reminded of my desire to relearn French when I had trouble translating this genius print by @jasminedowling. So I've added that, along with a screen printing or letterpress class, back onto my list of things to do this year. (p.s. It says, "This says something romantic".)

SEE //  I am desperately awaiting the arrival of spring blooms. The trees are starting to get their buds and I've seen a few stems peeking through the ground, but nothing quite like these beauts that @sarahshermansamuel posted to her feed last spring.

MAKE // If you follow along on Instagram, you may have seen this image earlier in the week. I've been painting all sorts of textures for new products and seriously can't stop. It's so therapeutic and I've been brainstorming a bunch of fun projects to share with you.

WEAR // I have this strange thing about not wearing light denim or cropped jeans during the winter (anyone else the same way?). So, now that we've thawed out, I'm super excited to pull out a few pairs of jeans that have been tucked away since fall, along with some lighter jackets. I'm especially digging this look from ALLSAINTS
