Let's Feast Dinner Party Printables

Fall Feast Free Printables | Dinner invite, menu & place cards by Evermore Paper Co.

As the days get cooler and the hats and gloves come out, I am envisioning many hearty meals and fireside cocktails in the near future. Often times, my favorite nights are the ones spent huddled inside with loved ones and barrels of laughter. So with the feast of all feasts (Hey Thanksgiving!) quickly approaching and the fact that I will still be in London during the festivities, I can't help but feel a little tinge of fomo. On the other hand, however, it does present a new opportunity for Travis and I to come up with what I'm sure will be a fun and offbeat way to celebrate the holiday, which of course is something to look forward to.

In the meantime, I decided to channel my love of a good meal into some pretty downloads for your next dinner party. Complete with invite, menu and place cards, I hope these printables will help set the right tone for a cozy night ahead with friends and family. Click here to download.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

I recommend printing on 8.5" x 11" white card stock. Trim marks have been added to assist with cutting the printed pieces down to the correct size. Here are the final measurements for each piece:

Invite: 5" x 7"
Menu: 4" x 8.5"
Place Card: 3.5" x 2" (when folded)

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Anyone who knows me well, knows that I never met a margarita I didn't like. It's often my go-to drink and one that I like to experiment with at home. Today I am sharing my three favorites: classic, grapefruit and coconut. I also created a free recipe card download for each so that you can give them a try yourself. The best part is that each uses 5 ingredients or less and are super easy to make. All you need to get this fiesta started is a glass juicer, shaker, some ice and a strainer. You can find the full recipes below along with the free recipe card download and some tips for making the best margarita ever. Enjoy!

TIPS & TRICKS

  • After juicing the fruit, I often strain it once through a mesh sieve or tea strainer to remove any pulp.
  • Use a lime to wet the rim of your glass before adding salt to it and serve in an old-fashioned glass, like this.
  • For a spicier option, replace the agave nectar or simple syrup with a jalapeno-infused simple syrup or add cayenne pepper to your salted rim
  • Use larger ice cubes to prevent your drink from becoming watered down. I recommend these.

Manic Muffin Monday

Peanut Butter Muffins via Evermore Paper Co.

The only manic thing about this Monday is that I may eat a dozen of these peanut butter banana muffins. During my senior year of college I liked to bake banana, blueberry or chocolate chip muffins at the start of each week so that my roommates and I could eat breakfast on the go. It always made Monday mornings slightly easier and I decided it's time I reinstate the habit. I conveniently had three perfectly ripened bananas on hand and decided to add some peanut butter for a little extra flavor. They turned out perfectly moist and are just what I needed to get this week going.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 C flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
3 ripened bananas
3/4 C sugar
1 egg white
2 T peanut butter
1/3 C melted butter

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mash bananas. sugar, egg white and peanut butter together, and then mix in melted butter.

3. Add banana mixture to dry ingredients and mix until just moistened.

4. Fill muffin cups (I love these) until 3/4 full. Bake 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Mother's Day High Tea Invites

Mother's Day High Tea invites from Evermore Paper Co.

Here's a look at a high tea invite that I recently created for a very special customer...my grandmother. She wanted to try something new this year for Mother's Day and her only request was that the invite include a teacup on it. I loved having so much flexibility and enjoyed playing around with watercolor effects in the floral motif and lettering. Once the invite was printed, I used my silhouette to create the scalloped edges before mounting it to kraft paper. To finish it off, I paired the invite with papaya-colored envelopes from Paper Source and added my own polka dot envelop liners. I'm quite happy with the end result and especially love the combination of traditional and modern elements.

Kentucky Derby Party Ideas

Kentucky Derby Party Ideas

Earlier this week I shared my favorite Cinco de Mayo party ideas and today I'm pretty much pulling a 180 and doing the same for the Kentucky Derby. Moving from bright colors and festive decor to more subdued hues and preppy patterns. I love spending the day at the racetrack and everything that comes with it, including...

1. Summery dresses
2. Floppy hats
3. Equestrian-inspired pattens
4. Preppy details
5. Mint juleps (or in this case a peach alternative) and mint ice cubes
6. Fun backyard games

Cinco de Mayo Party Ideas

Cinco de Mayo party ideas

I love a good party. And with Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to spend the week sharing some fun ideas for both. They're both so unique and full of tradition that it really makes it hard to choose to favorite. To kick things off, here are a few of my favorite ideas and DIYs to get you ready for Cinco de Mayo...

1. Mini cacti piñatas
2. Fringe invites
3. Fringe banners (yep, loving the fringe right now)
4. Pretty & natural decor
5. Festive party dress

And, since no fiesta would be complete without a killer margarita, here is one of my favorite recipes
