Tomorrow marks the start of National Letter-Writing Month. I realize these days there's a day, week or month dedicated to celebrating just about anything, but this is one of the few that serves a greater purpose. I mean, yes, National Donut Day (it's June 3rd) is great, but what good does stuffing my face with donuts all day really do? I look at National Letter-Writing Month as an opportunity for all of us to think about how we communicate with the important people in our lives and revisit the sometimes forgotten art of handwritten correspondence. I believe that taking the time to write a note can be very relaxing because it offers us the chance to slow down, disconnect, and create something with a lasting impact that can be revisited over and over again. It's something that I would like to put more effort into this month and I hope you'll do the same. To make it a little easier for you, I am hosting a giveaway for four of my greeting cards. Please see the details below on how to enter.
To enter, please leave a comment telling me what it is that you love most about sending or receiving snail mail. The deadline to enter is 12am CST on Tuesday, April 5 and I will announce the winner later that day. You may also enter via Instagram and Facebook. The winner will be selected at random and notified privately to confirm their mailing address. Please note that this giveaway is restricted to US residents only.
UPDATE: Congrats to Kate of The Shop Files who was selected as the winner! And thank you to all those that participated!
