When we arrived to our hotel in Zermatt, Switzerland last fall, we were greeted with a plate of the most adorable (and delicious) Linzer cookies. I've wanted to make a batch ever since and couldn't pass up the opportunity to whip up some heart-shaped ones for Valentine's Day. I followed this recipe and am head over heels in love with the combination of a buttery wafer and sweet jam.
