I've always had the tendency to use more subdued color palettes, both in my home and in my art, but lately I have been really drawn to black and white spaces and decor. There's something about the smooth, clean lines that I find so refreshing. Whereas before I avoided high-contrast elements like the plague in fear that they would be distracting and difficult to relax in, I am now finding them to be the exact opposite. These simple spaces manage to be airy and bold all at the same time and they've inspired me to revisit how I approach my own designs.
